Jerry Brenner............I tried reaching his son at work and left a voicemail for his son to give me a call. I also had the church send out an email to what I hope is his current email down in Florida and they were going to just ask him to contact me, because I need to get in touch with him. I do not know how long it will take him to get around to email, but he has been prompt in the past when I have exchanged email with him.

I sent you email: I'd like one of the core group to make the call if possible. If its done, thats fine, but as a group we shared a lot, and I know its going to be a tough pill for Jerry. Whatever works out; I just want him to find out ASAP because I'm sure he'll want to make travel arrangements.

I have sent a email to Jerry and he has replied. I wish one of us could have spoken to him directly, but it was the only way I knew to contact him.

Godspeed, Gary.......... you were a great friend to all of us and will surely be missed.

Good man: I tried the same thing. Its good that it came from one of the group, regardless of the mechanism.

Thank you!

I only knew Gary through the boards. I never got to make it to any of the rides he put together. MotoMinx did and had great praise about him.

Prayers to his family, both at home and on the road. He's missed already.

This is truly a sad day. I only met Gary once, but he came off as a really good guy and excellent rider.

Rest in peace Gary! Although youre no longer here in body, you are surely here in everyones' mind!

I too learned of this sad news from the C.O.R.E. boards and really don't know what to say. I sat in front of my computer for a little while after reading the news and cried. I only had the pleasure of riding with him twice in my life, but corresponded with him through emails and the boards. As he is a member of CORE, late last year I asked everyone to put their 2005 riding year into words. My idea for that never materialized but it came to me that Gary responded and although this was far from the reason I envisioned I would do with those stories, I went back and found his and felt compelled to share it with everyone. He loved riding as much as he loved life...this was apparent. As I re-read his words, I did smile and chuckle a little as I remember him during our ride in September and I hope his words make you smile a little too as it is as if he's talking to you by the way he wrote it.

RIP Gary. You will be very missed.

I did not edit his words at all.

sad.gif Very sad news. Condolences to all his loved ones and friends.

Ninjagirl - thanks for posting that. I looked for pictures of Gary from our FZ rally a couple years ago, but couldn't find one with him in it. He showed us some great roads that weekend.

Rest in peace, Gary.
