I just logged out and checked out what it looks like from an outsider and it looks like the registration procedure is located under Admin Announcements and is:
Send an email to admin {at} steelcityriders [dot] com asking for an account. Supply your desired screen name and password, and tell me where you live and what kind of ride you have. I can then get you hooked up. Greg If this is correct, I'd bet that potential new members simply arent looking in this category and/or dont feel like putting in the fairly small effort. -------------------- Obsession is a great substitute for talent.

I just sent an email to the account specified for new requests (admin at steelcityriders dot com). The link in the software to request a new account is broken/disabled, so you have to send a request via email. See if you can access the request Matt...

Most people probably don't even make it as far as emailing because of the message about admin not accepting new members. I'd guess they see that and just leave.

I've re-enabled new account registration on the board. If you know anyone who has been waiting to sign up, drop them an email and ask them to register. We shut registration down a year and a half back due to spammers overloading board. If that starts occurring again I may need to take action. Enjoy!
