My deepest sympathies go out to Gary's family and friends.

Clearly, he was a dear friend to many.

May each of us carry fond memories of him for the rest of our days,

and may it please almighty God to welcome Gary home to paradise with Him forever.

I only got the chance to ride with Gary once, but felt like I knew him pretty well from trading posts on this board. He and his family will be in my prayers.

Single R, not double R. I'm still here.... I know it's easy to confuse our names, well, until you saw us riding. I would be the slow one... RIP Biker299. I hope there are some awesome twisties in heaven...

this is unbelieveable..... Garry was such a great guy with a passion for life which he brought to all of us. I have never met anyone with the enthusiasm he had and was willing to share. I met garry last may in Avella from this forum. He welcomed me and made me feel comfortable... I had some great times with gary at the mail pouch fly by and other gatherings.. This is a sad day and a great loss to all... I will always remember you Gary..

I can't even begin to tell you all how crushed I am right now. And I've never tried to count how many 100s of rides and 10s of thousand of miles he and I shared over the 8-9 years that we rode together. Of course with me only ever seeing his back side, license plate and the long darkies he'd leave on the pavement... If I added up all of the times I didn't ride with him (sport bikes) when I rode.. it would be few enough to count on my fingers.... It is just so damn hard to even imagine riding without him leading the way and setting the pace.

And when we didn't ride, he and I talked at least once a week or so in the off season... and then we did ride "recaps" after most of our rides during the season... even the ones one of us was unable to attend.

A great great friend.. I truely am going to miss him.

Greetings Bikers,

I am Gary's uncle and one of his best friends. I want to thank you all for the posts here at this site and others. I will make sure his Mom and other family read them.

The fainal arrangements are made:
Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home on Penco Road, Weirton, WV 26062
Viewing: 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM on Suday
Ceremony and Burial following at 11:00 AM on Monday at Steel & Wolfe.
Afterwards: Geo's Restaurant... You are all invited.

If anyone needs more detail, please contact me or Cathy at:
304-748-5322 at the store... or my home: 304-797-1750 and if no answer -- just leave your name and number, and I will get back to you by this evening for sure.

Gary loved biking, many of you, and the priviledge of knowing you.
If any of you would like to speak at the funeral, it would be wonderful. I will arrange it. I want to speak - mostly about 'Biking' so please feel free to give me more input. I am not sure that I will be able to speak, I'll try or get the preacher to do it for me. Again, any input will be appreciated. You may post here or send me an email at infcpt@comcast.net

Thanks to you all for helping to make Gary happy during his short life.

Best Regards,

Captain Rick Jamison
