Below is an email I recieved from Rick. Rest in Peace, Gary... -- Gary Blinn (biker299) has had a heart attack and died this morning. He was a member of many of the forums and clubs. A message needs to be posted so that his man friends will know. There is a ride for this weekend that members would need to know about. The names of clubs that he was very attcive in: Steel City Riders and Avella Crew and others. You may varify this at: 800-453-5019 or 304-748-5322 Please advise me if you can help in this matter. I just talked with Kathy and Gary's uncle. He died this morning of a massive heart attack, I did not ask for any further details.
They will want us to attend / participate in some way so... I will post up the funeral information as it becomes availible tomorrow, and if they have any specific requests of us.... The one thing they did ask for now is if we all reach out and make sure all his riding buddies know, so please make an effort to contact the other boards and groups / individuals you know he may have ridden with.. HSTA, that Columbus group.. and anyone else you can think of. I just can't beleive it... this is so F'd Up.......... |

Jerry Brenner was a close friend of Gary's from Washington PA.. and he needs to be notified. I tried his home # but no answer since he is living in Florida for the winter. I have no way of contacting him... I know he is in the Christian riders group and the Goldwing group... can someone please take it upon themself to find a way to contact Jerry. Please... I have enough to do right now. He has a son living in the Washington area I think...

His sons name is Tim, and lives in Taylorstown. Not sure how I pulled that out of my ass, but I found a number. No answer so I'll try back later; unfortunately this isn't exactlysomething you leave at the beep. They were pretty close. yes, go ahead i guess, unless stumper or jim disagrees. i didnt know gary as well as they did thus i'll defer to them.
this still just makes me ill to think of. Gary was a great guy and one of the finest riders around from everything ive seen. very sad indeed. -------------------- who loves ya baby?
